I have one and I love it! It's really convenient. I really like it when I go on trips that way I don't have to bring a ton of books with me. :)
I've been thinking seriously about getting one, but I'm to much of a book snob. I like reading an actual book vs. on a computer.~Kelsa
I have one, and even though I still prefer hard copies, I do love my Kindle. We are constantly going places so it's nice to be able to just throw my Kindle in my bag and not have to worry about lugging around a bunch of books. There are also a bunch of free books for Kindle and sometimes YA authors put books on Amazon for free. Free is always nice. The best part is probably getting to put my NetGalley reads on it. Even though they took the feature away for a little while, NetGalley is supposed to get it back sometime this month. It is so much nicer reading galleys on my Kindle than sitting in front of my computer reading them.
I don't have an actual e-reader but I read alot of e-books on my iPad during the summer since it's way easier to bring ONE iPad than like 10 books out to sea :)(we sail alot during the summers)
I have been torn on the whole debate of EReaders vs. Real Books. I love the feel of real books, and being able to turn the actual pages. Another reason I prefer real books is because I love buying them so I can see them on my book shelves. I do have the Kindle PC on my computer and get some of the free books and read those sometimes but I don't know if I would get a Kindle myself. But then again I have not really tried on either. I would also be afraid of over spending on ebooks - they are a bit cheaper and the thought of being able to buy one at any time any where makes that a very dangerous thought lol.<3 Patricia @ Patricia's Particularity
